  • Play a key role in enhancing the visual appeal and branding consistency of print, digital, and social platforms for a monthly audience of 1.4M. Each week brings a new deadline with a new story to tell, while managing multiple work streams for upcoming releases.

  • Ideate and deliver branding, advertising and event collateral designs for the Reader’s annual food festivals, Tacotopia and Burgers & Beer, attracting over 5,000 attendees each.

  • Research, prepare, and present concepts to clients and sales managers to align on communication objectives and produce cutting edge creative work.

  • Collaborate with writers, editors, photographers, illustrators, and sales managers to generate high-quality visuals for print and digital materials, such as in-house marketing collateral, email newsletters, social media (static posts and motion design), and website layouts and graphics (in-house and for clients).

  • Conceptualize, design, and produce captivating magazine covers to attract a wide audience of 517,500+ readers per month. Execute all stages of design, from initial brainstorming to the final product.

  • Led the successful redesign of sandiegoreader.com, overseeing a team of advanced web developers to build a modern, responsive news and events site. This site’s monthly audience is 557,540+ viewers.
